Let's Get This Started:
1. Preheat your grill to 400°F. Let your cast iron dish warm up with the barbecue. Then add your onion and ground beef and sauté until your beef if browned and your onions are translucent.
2. Add all your sauce ingredients, mix thoroughly, and let simmer for 7-10 minutes.
3. Add your prepared rice. Remove from the barbecue but keep your grill on.
4. Cut the tops of bell peppers off and remove the core and any seeds with a spoon. **Pro tip** Get the 4 bump bottom peppers as they balance better standing up!
5. Stuff the sloppy joe mixture into your stuffed peppers. You can top your stuffed bell peppers with marble cheese if you please!
6. Using the same cast iron, add 1/2 cup of water and place the sloppy joe stuffed peppers back into the pan. Smoke for 20-30 minutes, or until your peppers become somewhat soft.
