Now Hiring in Ottawa & Online
Join the Team That's Been Grillin' It Up Right Since 1988
Capital BBQ and BBQing.com are looking for passionate, knowledgeable people who believe that a great outdoor cooking experience starts long before the first flame is lit.
What We Stand For
We Don't Just Sell Grills. We Live the Craft.
We are not a big box store. We are not a website with a warehouse. We are a crew of people who obsess over every burner, every sear, and every customer who walks through our door or lands on our site. Since 1988, Capital BBQ has been the go-to destination for serious grillers in Ottawa — and BBQing.com has taken that same expertise coast to coast. We test everything we sell in our own grilling kitchen. We reject brands that don't meet our standards. We hire people who feel the same fire we do. We are a team that genuinely loves what it does, takes pride in deep product knowledge and a commitment to getting it right, and measures success by how well we serve the people behind the grill. If that sounds like you — come fire it up with us.
You'll Know What You're Talking About
Every product you represent gets tested in our indoor grilling kitchen before it hits the floor. You'll build genuine expertise — not just read from a catalogue.
You'll Work Alongside True Experts
Our team includes KCBS-certified judges and seasoned BBQ specialists. The knowledge you'll gain here — and the people you'll learn from — is unlike anywhere else in the industry.
You'll Be Part of Something Local & Lasting
We're not a chain. We're a proudly Ottawa-based business with deep roots in the National Capital Region. Your work has a direct impact on the community around you.
You'll Experience Both Retail & Ecommerce
Whether you're on the showroom floor or behind a screen, you'll be part of a team that spans in-store and online — giving you valuable experience across both worlds.
Customer-Centric Culture
You'll work in an environment where doing right by the customer is the standard — not a talking point. Every role here, in every department, starts and ends with the people we serve.
Your Growth Matters Here
We're building for the long term — and we invest in the people who grow with us. From your first season to a leadership role, there's a real path forward at Capital BBQ.
What We Stand For
The Values That Drive Everything We Do
Expertise Over Everything
You'll be encouraged to learn deeply, test hands-on, and become a genuine authority in your role. We don't reward guesswork — we invest in real knowledge.
Honest Customer Service
You'll be empowered to give customers the right answer, not just the easy one. Integrity in every interaction is how we've built our reputation over 35 years.
Rigorous Standards
You'll be held to a high bar — and so will everything around you. We don't cut corners on products, and we don't cut corners on how we treat our team either.
Team as Family
You won't get lost in a corporate structure here. Your voice is heard, your contributions are recognized, and the people beside you actually have your back.
Community First
You'll be part of a business that genuinely serves its community. Working at Capital BBQ & BBQing.com means being connected to the people, neighbourhoods, and backyards we've called home for over 35 years.
Passion for the Craft
You'll thrive here if BBQ is more than a job category to you. Whether you're assembling a grill, managing a product page, or shooting a reel — the passion behind the work is real.
