Delivery Inspection Checklist
Your BBQ is an important purchase—please inspect carefully upon delivery before signature:
- Count pieces. Ensure boxes/pallets match your receipt.
- Look for damage. Check the exterior and open any visibly damaged boxes.
- Refuse or report issues. Note damage on the receipt or refuse the shipment, then call us immediately.
- Concealed damage. Report within 72 hours.
- Signature = Acceptance. Signing without a note confirms receipt in good condition.
Signature & Redelivery Policies
- Parcel Orders under $100: May ship without signature; left in a safe place or local pickup point.
- Freight Orders: Always require signature. Missed appointments may incur redelivery fees.
Fuel Shipping: Smart Tips
Fuel (charcoal, pellets, wood chunks) can be expensive in small quantities:
- Local Delivery: Delivered affordably by Trexity.
- Elsewhere in Canada: Combine with BBQ or pallet orders—or split pallets with friends for better value.
Address Accuracy & Missed Deliveries
Please double-check your shipping address and phone number at checkout and again on your order confirmation email.
- BBQing.com is not responsible for returns caused by address errors, vacancy, or inaccessibility.
- Return or re-shipping fees may apply to orders returned for these reasons.
- Freight deliveries require the carrier to reach you and schedule an appointment; missed appointments may incur redelivery, restocking, or return processing fees.
- If you need to correct your address after an order has shipped, carrier correction fees may apply and are non-refundable.
Special Circumstances

Delivery Address Requirements
- Customers are responsible for ensuring all shipping details are correct at the time of purchase.
- If a shipment is returned due to an incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible address, the customer will be responsible for all return and re-shipping charges.
- If an address correction is needed after shipping, carrier fees will apply and are non-refundable.
Undeliverable or Refused Shipments
- Undeliverable or refused shipments are treated as returns. Return freight and restocking fees may apply.
- If a freight carrier cannot reach you for delivery and the shipment is returned, standard return policy terms will apply.
Freight Delivery Terms
- Freight orders include curbside delivery and lift-gate service unless otherwise noted.
- An adult must be present at the time of freight delivery to inspect and sign.
- If delivery is authorized without a signature, BBQing.com cannot be held responsible for damage or loss.
- In-home or upstairs delivery is not offered unless purchased in advance and approved by BBQing.com.
Remote & Non-Standard Locations
- Some addresses may incur additional charges due to remote access, ferry transit, sea lifts, or rural surcharges.
- BBQing.com will notify you before shipping if your location requires special handling or fees.
