What are Stoll outdoor kitchens made of?
A welded aluminum framework with outdoor-rated powder-coated finishes, paired with countertops in either 304 stainless steel or powder-coated aluminum. Aluminum makes them weather-resistant, rust-proof, and lightweight enough to move if needed.
What's the difference between Stoll's prefab island and a custom outdoor kitchen?
Prefab islands are pre-designed in standard sizes (e.g., 60", 62", 84") with customizable finishes — fast to order and ship. Custom kitchens are built-to-order to fit your exact space, layout, and appliance choices, including L- and U-shaped configurations.
How customizable is a Stoll outdoor kitchen?
Highly customizable. You can pick any standard island and customize finishes, or work with a Stoll dealer to design a fully built-to-order kitchen sized for your space, your appliance brand, and your layout (linear, L-shape, U-shape, peninsula bar).
Are the finishes tested for outdoor use?
Yes — all finishes are tested by a third-party lab to ensure they meet industry standards for fade resistance and outdoor durability.
Which grills and appliances are compatible?
Grills and appliances are not included, but Stoll designs each kitchen around your specs. They commonly build to fit Twin Eagles, Lynx, DCS, Jackson Grills, Napoleon, Crown Verity, Kamado cookers and more. Send your grill specs and they'll custom-cut the openings.
How long does production take?
About 4–6 weeks from order, even for built-to-order custom kitchens — one of the fastest lead times in the category.
How long does installation take?
Most homeowners go from delivery to fully functional in less than a day, since cabinets arrive pre-assembled. The laser-cut tab-and-slot connection system locks sections together in minutes.
Do I need a contractor?
No general contractor or construction is required for the kitchen itself. Gas, electrical, and plumbing connections should be performed by a licensed professional.
Can I disassemble and move it if I relocate?
Yes — that's a Stoll signature feature. The laser-cut assembly system is designed so you can disassemble and reassemble the kitchen at a new home.
