What are Urban Bonfire outdoor kitchens made of?
Marine-grade aluminum that is roughly twice as thick as standard stainless steel cabinetry but significantly lighter. It resists rust, salt air, humidity, and snow, making it ideal for all climates including coastal areas.
What is the NACRAĒ™ finish?
A premium powder-coat finish that resists scratches, fading, and stains. It includes natural anti-microbial protection, is FDA-approved, environmentally sustainable, and available in a range of designer colors.
What hardware is used on the cabinets?
All door slides, hinges, handles, pulls, and leveling legs are made from 304-grade stainless steel for long-lasting durability.
Why aluminum instead of stainless steel or masonry?
Aluminum is lighter, more corrosion-resistant, and won't rust like stainless can in coastal environments. Unlike masonry, it's modular, movable, doesn't require a concrete foundation, and works on decks and rooftops without structural reinforcement.
How customizable is a custom Urban Bonfire kitchen?
Fully customizable. Hundreds of configurations are available across cabinet sizes, layouts, finishes, colors, handles, and accessories, so the kitchen coordinates with your patio furniture or extends your home's interior design.
Which appliance brands are compatible?
Urban Bonfire doesn't make grills or appliances, but the cabinetry is designed to accept most major outdoor appliance brands, including Twin Eagles, Lynx, DCS, Jackson Grills, Napoleon, Crown Verity, Kamado cookers and more.
Do the kitchens come with countertops?
Classics Collection models ship countertop-ready with premium 2 cm Dekton® surfaces in Danae or Keon finishes. Fully custom builds can be paired with a wider range of stone or porcelain surfaces.
How long does production take?
Approximately 6-8 weeks weeks from order confirmation.
Do I need a contractor, or can it be self-installed?
The modular design means experienced DIYers can assemble the cabinets, but utility hookups (gas, plumbing, electrical) should always be handled by licensed professionals. We recommend a contractor for the full project to ensure code compliance.
