It's the four-burner version of Blaze's bestseller, updated with the details that make it easier to live with. Interior lights stay on the whole time you're cooking, so you can actually see what's happening on the grates in October. The knobs glow red when a burner's live. And the hood is spring-assisted, so it opens with one hand while you're holding the tongs in the other.
What we like is that nothing was stripped out to hit the smaller size. You still get heat zone separators between every burner, so one end can sit at searing heat while the other roasts gently. You still get the flame stabilizing grids that cut flare-ups and turn drippings into flavour instead of smoke. And you still get the 10,000 BTU infrared rear burner for the rotisserie, which is how you do a whole chicken right. The cooking grids are heavy 9 mm triangular stainless rods that leave a clean, defined sear.
The whole thing is 304 stainless — burners included — with a double-lined hood that holds heat and won't discolour over the years. Blaze's lifetime warranty covers the burners, grids, body, flame tamers, and valves; ignition, lights, and electronics are covered for one year.
