Product Description

The Platinum 500 puts out 39,800 BTU of radiant heat through a tinted ceramic glass face, enough to cover about 215 square feet, with a soft red glow instead of a bright flame. Slow-release ceramic burners spread the heat evenly, and Bromic’s wind design keeps it running in gusts up to 20 km/h, where most gas heaters blow out.

It mounts on a wall or the ceiling (poles sold separately) with a pivot bracket, so you can tilt the heat toward the table. Direct electric ignition lights it right away with no pilot light, so it needs a 110V connection as well as gas. Install it 8 feet from the floor to the underside of the heater, and add a heat deflector if there’s less than 43" of clearance above it or it’s open to the weather. Installation by a licensed gas technician.

Runs on propane or natural gas.
