Product Description
A plancha cooks differently than a grill. It's a solid plate, so nothing falls through and fat drains off to a tray instead of dripping onto the flames. Cast iron spreads the heat evenly, and because the two burners have their own knobs, you can run a hot zone and a gentler one at the same time — steak on one side, vegetables on the other.
The ENOSIGN 65 uses a 7 mm enamelled cast iron plate, warrantied for life. This version is built on 304L stainless: drawing on its experience making marine cooking appliances, ENO chose that grade for its resistance to salt spray, and recommends it for seaside use. The plate and chassis meet in one seamless join, so there's no crevice for grease to collect in. When you're done, push the juices down the channel into the tray and scrub the plate with a stainless scourer — the enamel is sealed and non-porous, so it comes back clean.
It preheats quickly to 680°F, holds as low as 300°F, and has enough surface for six to eight people. Made in France, where ENO has been enamelling since 1909.
Included: soft cover · gas hose · regulator.
