The built-in version of the Astound, made to be framed into the wall. The orange and yellow flame uses spark technology to get closer to a real fire than most electric units, and the 57.75" x 17.5" viewing area sits behind tinted glass that cuts reflections so you see the flames, not the room.
The glass flips down, so you can reach in and change the look whenever you want. Beach Fire logs and a Woodland media kit of rocks, embers and charcoal come in the box; swap in birch logs, black crystal or glass beads, or set holiday decor inside for the season.
It needs a recessed install, and everything for it is included: a frameless finishing flange for a clean modern edge, or a one-piece adjustable trim that takes up the difference in finishing material thickness. Heat tops out at 10,000 BTU (3 kW). Eco mode runs at half heat; Boost mode turns up the heater and blower. The ember bed and top light have 13 colours and three brightness levels from the remote, and any colour through the Napoleon Home app. Run it from the premium remote in the box, the app, or by voice through Google Home or Alexa; an optional wall control is available.
