An electric insert for the wood-burning fireplace you don’t use anymore. The Rosedale Electric 3 slides into an existing masonry firebox or custom framing, seals off the draft, and gives you a fire with no smoke, no ash and nothing going up the chimney. Only 12" deep, so it fits shallow openings and still looks built in.
The fire is Napoleon’s multi-layer flame over a glowing log set and a modulating ember bed, with a MIRRO-FLAME porcelain reflective panel behind it to double the depth. Two flame colours, five speed and brightness settings, five ember bed colours, and 13 top light colours. The viewing area is 28.5" x 17.75".
Plug it into a standard 120V outlet for 5,000 BTU and 1,500W, enough for about 400 square feet, or hardwire it to 240V for 10,000 BTU and 2,930W. Eco mode runs at half heat; Boost mode turns up the heater and blower. The flame runs without heat in summer. Control it from the remote in the box, the Napoleon Home app, or by voice through Google Home or Alexa.
Finish it your way with Napoleon’s black faceplates (4-sided) and backerplates (3-sided, 4-sided or trimmable), sold separately. The framing matches the Rosedale gas inserts, so you can frame now and choose the fuel later.
