Product Description
The Competition Series 1020 puts a 767 square inch pellet grill and a 253 square inch gas griddle side by side on one cart, so you can run a pork shoulder for eight hours and still fry up bacon, eggs and hash browns the next morning without a second grill on the deck.
The pellet side is a full Pit Boss. The digital control board holds 180°F to 500°F in 5° steps and has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in, the Flame Broiler slide plate opens for direct-flame grilling or closes for indirect heat, and convection airflow keeps the temperature even across the porcelain-coated steel main grate and cast iron upper rack. A 21 lb hopper with a cleanout chute feeds it, a 200-watt igniter lights it fast, and start-up and shutdown run automatically. Two meat probes come in the box.
The griddle side gives you a flat top for anything that'd fall through grates: pancakes, fajitas, fried rice, a pile of onions. Both sides share a heavy-duty steel body with a high-temperature powder coat, a stainless steel handle, a fold-down front shelf and a solid bottom shelf for pellets and tools. A grease bucket handles the drippings, and two inline wheels with two locking casters make it easy to roll.
