The Navigator 850 gives you 932 square inches of cooking space on two porcelain-coated steel grids and a 30 lb hopper, enough pellets to run a brisket or a pair of pork shoulders through the night without a refill. The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth control board pairs with the Pit Boss app, so you can set the temperature, check the probes and keep an eye on the cook from inside the house.

The digital controller holds 180°F to 500°F in 5° steps, which is fine enough to dial in exactly where you want a smoke. Slide the Flame Broiler lever open and the burn pot is exposed for direct-flame searing up to 1,000°F. Fan-forced convection keeps the heat even across both grids, the rapid igniter gets you cooking faster, and automatic start-up and cool-down handle the beginning and end of every session.

The details are built around long cooks and easy cleanup. The pellet cleanout now sits under the hopper so gravity empties it, the undermount burn pot lifts out for ash, and the grease tray is a simple pull-out. A fold-down front shelf and a solid side shelf add prep space with built-in tool hooks, and the bottom shelf holds pellet bags and tools. Tall, tapered legs put the grates at a height that's easy on your back. One meat probe comes in the box, with two ports on the controller.
